And even a liberal commended:
I'm liberal as Hell (as far as 90% of other political topics ranging from
gay rights to pro-life matters to the middle class making a return to
various other topics, just not here), but Germany didn't follow the Jews to
the U.S. and the Jews escaped to a land with many Jews already living in its
cities, we don't have cities with Syrian populations {then or now}, and
more importantly the foreign threat didn't come to our home soil back then,
if it did, and sleeper cells and agents existed, it's nowhere near to the
degree that it is now with modern technology, and enhanced methods of
warfare {and paranoia}. This is a war that will follow the refugees to our
country and can cost (many) lives, and it can also be avoided. This is a
totally different world & situation than WWII period. Not a fair comparison.
Ya know what, why must it always be us? Why must we be the world's savior?
Gee, Africa has an ebola outbreak, let's send doctors and get Americans
infected, we get involved too much in the middle east, and mind other's
business too much. Maybe if we worried of our own affairs a bit more, we'd
be better off, and eliminate more of our own problems rather than bringing
them home with us. This is like standing up for a kid getting kicked around
at school but the next day, the bully & his friends are at your doorstep: WE
CAN AVOID THIS, SERIOUSLY, WHY CAN'T WE. HOW MUCH DOES OUR HEART HAVE TO
BLEED BEFORE WE WAKE UP. Yes, lives matter, but American lives matter most,
and this isn't the 1930's & 1940's and this will come and bite us, and
between Boston and God knows wherever else, do we need to risk more? I mean
I live in NJ, I have a bit to worry of. We're doing cyber attacks and it's
only a matter of time until these psychos initiate chemical or even nuclear
warfare. THIS ISN'T THE WWII WORLD, THE CONSEQUENCES ARE MUCH GREATER, BUT
NOW, IN AMERICA! WAKE UP!!!
