According to Bernie Sanders' campaign manager, the Democratic National
Committee needs a leader who is willing to unify, one who is willing to
bridge divisions and bring people from different parts of the party together
. Someone, Weaver suggested Thursday, like Republican National Committee
Chairman Reince Priebus.
Noting a report that quoted a Clinton source remarking that DNC Chairwoman
Debbie Wasserman Schultz "poured gasoline on the fire" in the wake of the
chaos of the Nevada Democratic Convention, Jeff Weaver told MSNBC's "Andrea
Mitchell Reports" that she "really escalated the situation."
