"Literally" means she said "hunt for Chinese" in a literal manner. Her
audience is supposed to take its meaning word for word. This gives back the
original meaning back to the word "hunt", which is "to chase Chinese as
prey and (usually) kill them when being captured".
Anyone who claims "hunt for Chinese'" doesn't contain any malicious
intention either fail to understand the meaning of her speech or
deliberately twist the context of it.
Many twitter users get the pun and that is why Times even wrote an article
about their reaction towards the carefully picked phrase "hunt for" by
Hillary.

Can you explain that?
Besides does she really care where she was giving the speech and who the
audience is?
Seems you can't analyze and think by yourself if you can't rely on other's
