成员，那个调查是对Trump Campaign调查，所以当事人有利益冲突。这是共和党比猪党
要脸的地方

Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay chastised President Donald Trump for
talking about his frustrations with Attorney General Jeff Sessions with "his
biggest enemy," The New York Times.
In an interview Thursday with "Newsmax Now" host Bill Tucker, DeLay said he
agrees with the president on one matter — Sessions should not have recused
himself in the Russia investigation.
"I don't know why the president is doing private interviews with The New
York Times — his biggest enemy, of all people," DeLay said. "Why would you
talk about internal things with The New York Times? I just don't understand.
"Carry out those kinds of discussions between the president and Sessions,
but not with The New York Times. Keep your dirty laundry in house, and don't
give it to The New York Times."
He speculated the interview also was a blow to White House staff.
"It's got to have knocked his staff right off . . . their chairs, because
they now have to deal with it and never saw it coming," he said. "And it's
those kinds of things that keeps a staff unstable and unable to keep their
jobs, and you got to realize that sooner or later."
DeLay also expressed frustration at the GOP attempt on healthcare reform.
"Repeal and replace is a nonstarter," he said. "It was in 2010. The minute I
heard them say 'repeal and replace' as a response to the media pressure
that was coming down on them . . . I knew right then that that was a killer,
because what that implies is you're going to keep the concept of Obamacare,
but you're going to do it in a Republican way — and you can't do that with
only a two-vote margin in the Senate."
"What they ought to be doing is, if you're going to have a vote next week,
vote on the repeal, force those senators that voted on a repeal in 2015, and
then go and create a free-market system . . . so that the market can offer
people the kind of coverage that they need," he said. |
