China said on Monday its overall trade surplus in May was $41.65 billion,
significantly more than expected.
Economists polled by Reuters had expected the world's second largest economy
to post an overall trade surplus of $20.5 billion.
China's trade surplus with the U.S. rose to $26.89 billion in May from $21.
