About 300 killings of felons during crimes by civilians. Predominantly using
guns.
There’s not data on how many felon s wounded or scared away thereby
preventing crimes.

Look at this data. If u wipe out all rifles and shot guns in the us. That
is stop selling new ones and destroy all existing ones. Not limited to so
called assault weapons but all rifles and shot guns. Gun homicides will
reduce by about 6%.
Even if u proportionally attribute the type unknown between handgun and long
gun that adds an insignificant amount
No doubt some will find alternative weapons so homicides by handgun, knives,
baseball bats etc will go up a tiny bit each. |
