I am a Taiwanese immigrant. I came to USA when I was 14. Like many people
here I was devastated when Trump was elected in 2016.
My red pill moment came during the Coronavirus pandemic. There were many
news explaining Taiwan’s success against Coronavirus. But they all failed
to mentioned the most important reasons why Taiwan is able to prevent the
pandemic
(1) We can read Mandarin Chinese.
(2) We don’t trust Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and WHO.
Taiwan’s CDC director knew about the virus because of Wuhan doctors’ posts
on a BBS forum. One of the post was by the famous whistleblower Dr. Li
Wenliang who later died of the virus himself. Taiwan contacted WHO to verify
the information and as we all know the rest is history.
So I knew from the beginning that the pandemic wasn’t Trump’s fault. But
the media keeps on blaming him for the virus outbreak and that’s when I
realized, it’s all “Fake News”.
Later when Trump said, “Chinese Virus”, the media again labeled him as
racist. But I knew the timeline and I knew it wasn’t true.

CCP foreign ministry spokesman Lijan Zhao said the virus is from US Army on
his Twitter.

Trump was asked about CCP’s accusation. He said, we know where the virus is
from and they know where the virus is from too.
Same day, Chinese ambassador Cui Yuankai was summoned to Department of State
regarding this accusation.

On the press conference, Trump said the virus came from China but it’s
nobody’s fault.

Security Of State, Pompeo called the Chinese director of the Office of
Foreign Affairs, Yang Jiechi regarding the accusation. But CCP still refused
to stop the disinformation.

Trump got pissed off and called Coronavirus, the Chinese Virus.
As you can see, Trump’s administration tried many times to communicate with
CCP asking them to stop the disinformation but they refused.
So I don’t blame Trump for calling the virus, “Chinese virus”.
As time goes on, I realize there are many similarities between the Left and
CCP.
1. They control the media.
2. They incite emotions rather then reasons.
3. They accuse you for the exact same things they are doing
4. They hailed their ideology as a religion that can not be challenged.
5. They tell you the world is your enemy and you need their protection.
6. They persecute people who have different opinions.
The only differences between the Left and CCP are
1. The Left is doing all these under the name of compassion and tolerance,
while the CCP is calling it patriotism.
2. The Left labels people with different opinions as racists, bigotries and
the CCP label them as traitors.
So when the riots broke out couple weeks ago, and people are getting fired
for speaking their opinions, I realized, this is not about election, this is
not about Trump, this is the US version of the Culture Revolution.
Mao’s Culture Revolution divides people by right and left. US culture
revolution divides people by racists and the victims of racism.
It’s very easy for the Left to categorize white people and black people.
But when it comes to Asians they don’t know what to do with us. So they try
both.
Couple days ago I saw an article by a Chinese Yale student that says
(1) Chinese is racist and the fact that we are silent on BLM issues, we are
helping white people oppress black people.
(2) Chinese has been discriminated since 1800s and the article continues to
tell you the history of the Chinese exclusion act.
I told my friend who showed me the article don’t fall for their trick. They
are forcing us to take a side. We don’t have to. When people asked, just
tell them your own experience. Because when people see each other as an
individual, the Left’s scheme won’t work.
