Maybe all of us who have been affected should write to mitbbs
management and complain.

of pms to complain:

the id login loophole has been resolved, they will take notice and perhaps
actually resolve the problem.

we all affected should write to them complaining about this issue,
write emails to them at [email protected], attach screenshots of ids being
locked, also include some suggested solutions.
With enough IDs complaining about this issue, they will eventually treat it
as priority and fix it.
