By the way, now TX's death per capita is only 1.75% below US average. When
they announced dropping mask mandate, it was about 2.6% lower, then climbing
up to 2% lower when last time we talked about it on this board, and now it
is 1.75% lower (1684 vs. 1714). Good luck.

Don't care if this Big Flu is the same as Black Death, but eventually it
will either disappear or become not that fatal. Then we can treat it as
common flu. I am not in the medical field, so I don't care the subtlety. I
only care if it will take my life or the life of anyone I care about. Just
yesterday dust still got into my eyes when I thought about my former
colleague friend. I was thinking that if he could make it to today, most
likely he would make it for many more years to come. If he could avoid
catching the virus for another month, he would be qualified to get the
vaccine.

Looks like my cutoff is somewhere in between. And this 550k is after we
went through so much, social distancing, mask mandates, and lock downs. Who
knows what the number would be if we didn't have those, 1M, 2M or even
higher. Of course, we still hear some smart asses arguing those actually
make things worse.

again. For someone up there, we are just a number. For me, I have only one
life, and one is a very important number here.

Oh, Fauci again. He did such terrible thing last February and March. That
certainly makes anyone's mistakes from last April to this January forgivable

that. I don't remember if he said we needed to do it at that time or if he
recommended us doing it. And I did see some people wearing two after that,
especially the cashiers. Is it doing harm to them?
