“It was said to me, ‘Well, you’re really not a minority,’” Chung told
the Boston Globe.
“I was like, ‘Wait a minute. The last time I checked, when I looked in the
mirror and brushed my teeth, I was a minority. So I was like, ‘What do you
mean I’m not a minority?’ ”
Chung added: “You are not the right minority we’re looking for.”
Chung did not reveal the name of the interviewer or which team he was
interviewing with.
However, the names of the interviewer and the identity of the organization
may soon come to light. The NFL announced on Monday that it has decided to
open an investigation into Chung’s claims.
