found the following.
"About 84% of COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Week 31 (the week ending 8/7) were
Dallas County residents who were not fully vaccinated. In Dallas County,
4,345 cases of COVID-19 breakthrough COVID-19 infections in fully vaccinated
individuals have been confirmed to date, of which 151 (3.5%) were
hospitalized and 21 have died due to COVID-19."
So the vaccinated hospitalization rate is 3.5%, where did the 12.1% come
from?
Want to compare case fatality? For vaccinated, it is 21/4345=0.48%. For
unvaccinated, it is (4244-21)/(330,213-4345)=1.30%.
Want to compare fatality within their population? No, you don't want to
know.
