"put up wiht the pain" is like the four ways to spell "茴香豆".

When watching the Olympics, most of the scores I gave to the dives are
within half point from what the divers actually got, but I simply cannot
dive.

一读。

发帖数: 878 | 9 No, "dives" is the correct one. I was giving score to the dives.
Seems you did not know. "are" is also right. Those scores I gave, if you
look at them now, they "are" still the same scores. "I learned the Earth is
a sphere" is the correct way to say it. Thought "learned" happen in the
past, Earth "is" a sphere is some general knowledge or truth.
