Facing Eviction? Unpaid Rent? Funds are available! Help is here.
If you were unable to pay some or all of your rent or utilities due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, the New York State Emergency Rental Assistance Program (
ERAP) can pay up to 12 months of past unpaid rent, along with 3 months of
future rent and other assistance for eligible tenants. If you apply and are
eligible, ERAP will pay back rent you owe directly to your landlord on your
behalf. You don’t need to pay any money back to ERAP.
Due to a recent ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, even if you filed a
Hardship Declaration, your eviction[MR1] case may now be scheduled for a
conference in Housing Court. However, applying for ERAP will temporarily
stop your eviction case until a decision is made on your ERAP application.
If ERAP pays all or some of the back rent you owe, you will receive certain
legal protections from eviction for at least one year.
Residents of New York City are eligible if they:
· Fell behind in rent since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March
2020 AND
· Qualified for unemployment benefits or have lost income and/or
have an increase in expenses due to the COVID-19 pandemic; AND
· Have a monthly gross (before tax) household income at or below 80
% of the Area Median Income (AMI).

4口之家 household $96000以下的都可以合法赖租。
美国的这些白左deep state是不是真的何不食肉糜啊
