All USTCers in the Greater New York area and family and/or significant
others are cordially invited to the USTCAA-GNY 2010 Spring Festival
gathering! Please help us spread the words and communicate to your USTC
friends.
As in the past years, we'll have a few special guests who excel in
their own fields to give short but intriguing talks; their bios will be send
out in a few days.

11:00am to 4:00pm on March 6th, 2010 (Saturday)

2010年3月6日，纽约刚从一周前的大雪里缓过劲来，冬日的阳光照在身上十分舒适。近
150名校友出席了在皇后区法拉盛东丽宫大酒楼进行的中国科大大纽约校友会新春聚会。
法拉盛中羊排少
法拉盛是纽约新中国城。茶坊酒肆，歌馆楼台，比比皆是。卖包子的，烤羊肉串的，玩
杂耍的，活杀鸡的也随处可见。其繁华程度堪比昔日黄山路。东丽宫大酒楼罩得住大场
面的地方，非常适合我们这种大型帮会。美中不足的地方是科大并未包场，另一半场子
被屏风挡住。那边都是些讲粤语的阿婆和老伯，噪音之大十分惊人！
聚会在自助餐中开始，互动频繁，场面热烈。从八几级的学界、业界江湖大佬，到07级
的90后阳光小帅哥（转学出来读本科的），校友们无不神采奕奕，满面春风，席间觥筹
交错，其乐融融。此次新春聚会采取了先吃饱喝足、再进行嘉宾演讲环节的方针。事实
证明效果非常好，演讲嘉
