I have a few job openings at Qualcomm for new grads (Master or PhD) and
experienced candidates, which I have to fill in 6 months. Here is job
description:
Responsibility:
Candidates will study methodologies for characterization and frontend
modeling, develop flows/tools for the automation of modeling and
verification work.
Candidates will be responsible for building frontend models (liberty,
verilog etc) for Standard and Custom designs.
Candidates will be responsible for verifying (functional and formal)
frontend models for Standard and Custom designs
Skills:
Good understanding of ASIC design flows (from RTL to Layout)
Good understanding of circuit behavior in deep submicron era
Proficiency in common EDA tools such as Design_compiler, Primetime,
Verilog simulator, Spice simulator, waveform viewer, etc
Good scripting capabilities such as Perl, TCL and shell
Verification experience is a plus
