没有回美国的签证,英国使馆会给签证吗？(邮寄办理)
回美国要到美国使馆再签F-1的时间也约了.人家说5-7个工作日,请问有加急吗?我只能
在伦敦旅馆里等这,这十几天的费用得贮备多少?
有在英国的同学提供点信息吧!

, why try UK? Unless you are from Stanford/Harvard, and plan to begin a
career in UK. Besides, a career in out-of-100 univs in US should bring a
better earn than in most UK institutions.
I know many UK's PIs like to invite researchers in US for interview. That
really helps earn faces. But then they will reject, putting oversea
travellers nowhere.

发帖数: 9065 | 3 有的时候选择也是迫不得已，并非我不想留在美国，但目前的经济形势大家也知道。美
国倒是有几个面试，但并非铁板定钉的，去英国无非是多一个机会而已。
谢谢你的提醒，要是去美国驻英国的大使馆把我给据了，不得不回中国再签的确是个非
常糟糕的结果，只能祈求上帝保佑了。

you earn in USA, and long waiting for Green card with chaotic uncertainty.

国的哪怕是烂校给我一个Offer，我也不用费那个折腾去大不列颠了。人再怎么也得养
家糊口呀，现在还不是我挑三拣四的时候。

发帖数: 7494 | 6 I knew several APs in 100th-rank USA univ came to Lect interview, and got nothing to go back with.
If they did not promise to pay your intl travelling, and you did not fix get visa to re-center USA, it then can be very very very tricky...
Bearing in mind, US has around 1000 univs, while UK has less than 100. Getting a lectureship in UK is more difficult than in US, unless you are really strong in publication. The trick here is, English don't know the head and tail of USA unv rankings, and a PhD
