综合来看,北美最好,私立公立同台竞争,工资节节高。 |

department at LSE and UCL offer lecturers around 70000 pounds, which is more
than 110000 USD. Imperial College business school offers more than 90000
pounds, which is more than 150000 USD. LBS offers more than 1250000 pounds,
which is more than $210000. Engineering departments such as computer science
, software engineering, etc. also offer good salaries by adding "market
supplement" to base salaries. I think these salaries are good deals,
considering the low teaching load and less pressured lifestyle than US.
Obviously, for other majors, such as Maths, Physics, etc., if there is no "
market supplement", the base salary is indeed low. But if the location is
not in London, it is also not that bad as you may imagine.
UK is a cute country with rich culture and long history, while US is
essentially a huge farmland. I think both UK and US have their pros and cons
in terms of living. Different people have different preferences...

工的生活。
也不太喜欢英国人,觉得阿三那套都是跟他们学的。唯一喜欢的,就是免费的博物馆,
好多国宝。。。。。。 |
