bcos the line was very slow so I closed telnet without logout.
now the problems is the system always treats this telnet record
and the pine process active. so if I use pine again, it is said
another process is using the mail system and my current inbox is
only readable. I tried to kill the old bash and pine commands, but
no real results. what should I do now?
then I tried to use emacs email system in a hope to terminate
the old pine email process. |

then just move it back

I know the emails are stored in the INBOX file in emacs.
but what is the file name for pine emails?
dunno know where to move it back . //@@

But I remember that emacs will change the format of email files.

you are terribly right! I deleted the first several lines of emacs INBOX
and then copy it to the directory you provided. It works!
