API library.
But always fialed to use them in c++ code, so i need to see
some makefile help

There is a book from O'Reily, "Managing projects with make",
pretty good.

http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/texinfodoc/make_toc.html
it will take some time to learn all the tricks inside. but it isnot hard.
