But anyone knows how to install it? I saw someone said use
the first software CD to boot the machine. But is it a
bootable disk?

发帖数: 106 | 2 Yes, it is bootable. But from my experience, it is not a good
idea to install Solaris x86 if you want to do some real work.
There aren't many packages for this OS. Either switch to Linux
or use Solaris for SPARC. But if you just want to get a feel of
Solaris with your PC, then go ahead.

Use the Software Install CD 1 to boot your PC and install it.
because the CD includes an ISO-9660 and a UFS slice.
