I checked the modem on my Dell Inspiron 4000,
which is a "internal 56k V.90 Data/Fax modem" as the
default one.
Is that a WinModem? My RedHat7.1 cannot recognize
this modem,at least the KPPP cannot find it.
Dell offers some Linux driver for 3COM V90 modem,
can those drivers also work for me? And how to
put the driver, some threads said we need to recompile
the kernel?
