The sun solaris 7 (sparc ultra 5) on screensaver mode went awry when I turn
the monitor by 90 degree to another direction and when I key in anything it
just gave me weird symbols. and even 'stop - A' does not work. So I power off
the machine and back on, then this is what's on the screen: | a***t

Do you have a CDROM? Boot from the Solaris CD, and run some diagnostics from
there.
