Find a fulltime, young, active, lower commission agent. I do not have
anyone in particular but talked to Mike/Jimmy Wu before and they sounded
like they know what they were doing. Ask whoever to do a comparable for
your current home before deciding on price. Overpricing is a classic
sellers'mistake.
Most agent would give you discount if you do the sell+buy in one.

发帖数: 4883 | 3 Thanks. It's going to be a long process. I am sure I need to do a lot of
work before I can sell, such as changing the carpet, painting the rooms,
throwing away old furniture, replacing the wood floor... I want an agent who
can give me advice on how to start... Selling a house is so much harder
than buying a house...

发帖数: 4883 | 5 Neither of us are handy, and we don't want to spend too much money on fixing
things. Anyway, hopefully an agent can tell us what minimum things we need
to fix.
