发帖数: 3311 | 7 UVU - used to be UVCC - a community college with mostly 2 yr degrees. Later
it became UVSC - a state college with some 4yr programs. Just a year or
two ago they were upgraded to UVU and they are trying to reduce number of
two year programs and add some Master degrees. Right now they still admitt
pretty much anyone with a high school diploma in UV.
IMO, in Utah, the pub schools ranking should be: UU, USU, WeberState, UVU...
They do issue I-20 and there are quite many Asian students there.

发帖数: 749 | 11 I have taught several college courses there. In my opinion, it is a garbage school. It was a community college before. Anyone can study there without any qualification exams. As long as you want to study for a degree you can attend this college. It is not competitive at all. Now it is an university. If you are ambitious and really want to learn something, don't go to this university. If you are lazy, you are afraid of any challenges, you don't care too much about learning anything or you only want to get a college degree, it is an excellent choice for you!!!! |
