University of Utah in October. Now, the address is back on, the university
says.
His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet will speak at the University of
Utah Huntsman Center on June 21 at 1:30 p.m.
According to a press release, a limited number of tickets will go on sale
for University of Utah students, faculty and staff on April 1 at 10:00 a.m.
Tickets for the general public will be available three days later on April 4
. Buy them at utahtickets.com, the Rice-Eccles Stadium ticket office or by
calling 801-581-8849.
Tickets are $10 for U of U students, with a limit of two per UCard. Faculty
and staff tickets are $20 with the same limit. Tickets for the community are
$35 with a limit of four tickets per purchase.
Local proceeds will go to the Utah Tibetan Association, who will put on a
cultural program at the Huntsman Center prior to the Dalai Lama's address.
Doors open at 11:00 a.m.
The event will also be streamed live.
