weekend in hopes of getting the public hooked on fishing.
No licences will be required from June 18 to 20 when the province offers
parents and their youngsters free angling in most of B.C.'s thousands of
lakes and streams.
Volunteer groups will also staff 47 events, funded by the Family Fishing
Weekend Society, whose members will provide equipment and guidance.
