The BC Japan Earthquake Relief Fund (BC-JERF) is pleased to announce a major
concert event to benefit the victims of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear
tragedies in Japan.
Date: Tuesday, April 19th 2011
Time: 7:30pm – 10:00pm
Location: Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Vancouver, BC
Featuring:
Jon Kimura Parker with members of the Grammy award-winning Vancouver
Symphony Orchestra performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto no. 27, K.595, Kokoro
Dance, Takeo Yamashiro, Jim Byrnes, Alcvin Ramos, The Sojourners, Bill and
Saffron Henderson, Doug and the Slugs, Simon Kendall, 54*40, Taiko for Tō
hoku – a collaboration of taiko players of the Lower Mainland.
