Vancouver’s funnest, biggest and most pedestrian-friendly party is this
weekend!
Car free street festivals on Commercial Drive, Main Street and in the West
End (Denman Street) take place Sunday, June 17th/Father’s Day. Kitsilano
will be hosting several neighbourhood block parties (intended for the people
who live on those blocks) on Saturday, June 16th & Sunday, June 17th.

Commercial Drive Featuring four stages of music including HeadWater, Wassabi
Duo and others (find the full line-up on the Commercial Drive festival web
page); roller disco; dance workshops; Kidzone; artisans; Drive Vibe fashion

Main Street Highlights are the SFU Philosophers’ Cafe “Street Life”
discussion; eight stages of entertainment featuring T-Riley, The Evaporators

page); BLIM Market; a pedal-powered DJ; comics making; Tai Chi; knit-in and
living room; kids bike rodeo and more!
West End Featuring a Father’s Day tie swap (bring your ties!); local
musicians including Reid Jamieson, Meshe & Moon Circus and others; Vancouver
Historical Society; philosophy corner; Vancouver Aquarium; Gassy Jack
walking the festival site and more!
Kitsilano Block parties hosted by Kits residents for neighbours on these
