请问我可以用现在的护照预约签证么？然后回国更新好护照后带新护照去签证？
还是必须先更新护照，然后再预约签证？
另外在国内更新护照大概需要多长时间？在这里去领事馆更新好像一两天就能拿到了

not matter if the visa is on the old passport or the new one, as long as it'
s a valid visa, you can use it. You can get a new passport when you are at
home, and when coming back, bring the new passport and the old one (if your
visa is on the old one).
It takes two weeks at the Chicago Consulate to get a new passport. | s******r
