Going back to China in early Feb and already made visa appointment. Found
passport expiring in April. Need urgent help.
(1) Passport renewal in Houston Consulate is too slow (30 to 40 days). I
heard getting passport renewed in New York is pretty fast. Can I go there
for passport renewal though I do not live in the vicinity?
(2) How long would it take me to get the new one?
