How long have you worked at this company?
Have you worked at the US headquarters before?
What type of work do you do?
H-1B is probably not the right visa type.
B-1 or L-1A or L-2A is probably more appropriate,
if the situation allows one of these.

发帖数: 267 | 7 just check the requirement for L-1A or L-1A visas, they seems to require
being employed by the company for at least 1 year. This does not apply to me
. sigh...
For B-1, I thought it was a vistor visa. Am I allowed to work/train in a
company with that?
Thanks for the information. By the way, the training could be between 3-mos
and 6-mos. I have not worked in the US hedquarter before. The type of work i
am doing is algorithmic/quantitative related, same as my major.

to prepare the supporting documentation very well
if your trip is going to be several months long.
Read this, it should help:

Read carefully in particular section N11 starting on
page 19.
Your employer may wish to consult with an
immigration attorney as well to assist you with the
visa application. Your case is not as trivial as
a B-1 to attend a week-long conference.
