has expired 5 days ago.
It looks like no passport renew service can be done in this shot time period.
Does anyone know if I still have any chance to make the trip? how?

it's illegal to mail back passports to china because when you leave china
with a blank passport issued outside of china, china immigration will find
your passport has no entrance stamp, you will have troubles.

fined and allowed to enter after his identity is established, of coz china
will not kick him back to US. however, the problem is that he will not be
allowed to board. that is it.

发帖数: 15689 | 27 出入境管理法细则就是法律啊；航空公司的政策也是遵照航班起点/终点国的法律制定
的，护照有效期不到6个月不能入境美国是美国的法律，所以航空公司不能让没有满6个
月有效期护照的赴美乘客登机（这个规定事实上只针对部分外国乘客，美国公民、绿卡
持有者和某些国家的公民不受此限）；中国没有类似规定，航空公司的政策又该如何？
中国边检每年都拦下不少持过期中国护照入境的，可见航空公司要么是没有照章办事，
要么就是没有这个章。
当然对LZ而言，最保险的方法还是先去领事馆申请旅行证。

1, 写email 给领事馆（电话打不通），详细说明情况，请求帮助。得到回信本人需去
一下办旅行证。
2，开车3小时到了领事馆，被工作人员批评，威胁需改期机票。认错态度比较好后，得
到了办理旅行证的特批。
3， 办了当天可得旅行证。
4， 需回国换护照。
基本上和版上牛人指点相一致，十分感谢！ |
