z***e 发帖数: 5393 | 1 I went back to china last year and my visa stamp is valid until this
October. Now I changed job/employer, if I come back again, do I need new
visa stamp?
I asked before somewhere and people say yes, but I don't find official
documents. I'm H1, but for F1 students, if you change school, do you
need new visa stamp??
I searched again and find a link says you don't need new visa stamp
after changing job:

Can someone confirm? Is there any reference link I can look at?
Thanks. | z***e 发帖数: 5393 | 2 I found this at:
http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/87226.pdf
on page 20, it says:
After changing H-1B employers in accordance with DHS procedures for
making such a change, an H-1B visa holder may continue to use his or
her original H-1B visa for entry into the United States. Upon applying for
entry, the visa holder must present the new Form I-797, Notice of Action,
evidencing the approval of the change of employer in addition to the visa. | z8 发帖数: 350 | 3 同顶,经历过的人帮忙confirm一下吧,多谢了 | x******0 发帖数: 1058 | 4 Definitely you do NOT need a new H1B visa based on my personal experience.
However, you would better print the letter (your next post) you found online
and bring it with you in case some CBP officers do not know the policy. I
remembered some people was declined with entry by a CBP officer, and got
passed finally after talking with his supervisor and showing the printed
policy.
Good luck!
