for him/her first before bringing him/her to the US. He/she is in F2A category of family based immigration, currently it takes about 3 years for F2A category to get GC.

category of family based immigration, currently it takes about 3 years for
F2A category to get GC.
多谢楼上的回复. 这样说来, 在替养子女申请绿卡的这段时间, 以及绿卡的等待时间里
, 养子女无法来美国与我团聚, 是吗?
另外, 请教您一下, 您是否知道办理收养的手续?

No, unless you naturalize to US citizen; in this case the child can get GC
in a few months.
