Normally it takes around a month to get one in NYC. Buffalo is the fast
place to get a canadian visa.
On the other hand, You can apply US visa in Toronto (1 and half hour away).
Of course, if you don't intend to renew US visa, you can still come back
even your US visa is expired using the 90 days rule. | h*********2

My visa has not been renewed about 10 years, during which I also transferred
from F-1 to H-1B. So I know if I renew visa in China, I will get checked,
but what about renewing in Toronto? |
