当前的H1-b今年7月到期，我在3月份递交了H1 extension申请，现在还在
等prevailing wage阶段。学校国际学生办公室告知新的I-797可能要到8
月份才能拿到。
国内家里有急事，明后两天就要回国，打算回国的第二天去美领馆签证，
签证官看我当前I-797上有效期只剩一个月了会不会为难我？ | c**2
发帖数: 8496 | 2 it's fine unless you get checked. Your visa cannot be issued if your H1 I-
797 already expired when the check is cleared. If such delay, your school
needs to file H1 extension(they haven't done so yet) and selects consulate
notification, and you wait for the I-797 which may take 3-5 months if they
don't PP. You won't be able to return until you get H1 visa stamp. |
