是特别严，但在办理H1b时移民局会追踪到I-20上的major与从业方向必须相关...

发帖数: 15689 | 4 USCIS is strict on which one doesn't matter. The first is illegal: you don't
use the OPT after graduation, you lose it; you can use OPT for MBA, but not
for previous CE master. The second is legal: you have a CE master, so you
can have H-1B based on this master degree, when you got this degree is
irrelevant.
