I was working on H1B visa starting Oct 2013, and it was revoked by the
employer on Dec 2014. I then became a F1 student since then. I might be
getting a job offer recently(Oct 2016). Do you think for the new job, I will
need to attend 2017's H1B lottery or the employer can apply H1B transfer
for me anytime now using the old H1B number/quota ? Thank you very much. | z****g

The beneficiary of this petition has been counted against the cap and: (1)
was previously granted status as an H-1B nonimmigrant in the past 6 years, (
2) is applying from abroad to reclaim the remaining portion of the 6 years,
or (3) is seeking an extension beyond the 6-year limitation based upon
sections 104(c) or 106(a) of the American Competitiveness in the Twenty-
First Century Act (AC21).
