Stanford Ford Center. 基本上有三个队伍(或者四个), Stanford的
学生一个(水平很参差不齐, 赫赫), 外面成年队一个(好象都是30-40的人),
台湾队一个(我不很清楚,不过操台湾国语), 还有一个Gay队(也是听
谣言),可能是ABC或者港澳台同胞,不过看起来很GAY, hehe.
我从前和Riemann, torent在UC打球, 后来毕业了,来这边postdoc,
听说我们UC(我总是喜欢说我们UC,虽然已经毕业了)已经不打球了,
很伤心.MII现在和V-club的人一起打球了.
Stanford 校队的水平颇高, 我看过他们男子的比赛,至少在我看来
很职业,打得很精彩.
这边IM水平也挺高,ACSSS(相当于CSSA)组织了个队参加, 4人制,
只进了前八(我也是队员之一, 只不过没上场几次, sigh).

I thought it was for stanford people only, initially. But
later I found some people who are playing with us are not
from Stanford. They just come to play, to have some fun,

这个俱乐部看来并不是以比赛成绩为主要目的，或许有些队员要交钱才能参加该俱乐部
(我想起看过的一集“体育人间”，苏惠娟在瑞士一个俱乐部打球，只有她，林文珍和教
练拿工资，其余人水平不高，不拿工资或还要交钱)
但李教练肯定是想出成绩的，因为只有比赛取得好成绩，才能证明自己的执教能力，今后
才能有大的职业发展空间。

什么的不重要, 最好是每个队员都有机会上场, 这样才比较公平. 否则你
组队的时候就不要让没有机会上场的人参加, 对不? 对于职业或者半职业
球队, 当然不一样, 他们需要成绩, 甚至还有奖金的刺激, 当然应该派
主力上场. 我有时候觉得真的是重在参与, 这样一来才可以达到全民
体育的目的. 有的时候中国同学是被竞技体育毒害太深了, hehe.
不是崇洋媚外, 的确美国同学相对中国同学, 热爱运动多了.

正好男生都轮下去的时候, 但是大家都很happy
我们每次出去和uiuc, purdue之类比赛, 每次都有人不高兴
你想一起坐那么久的车去, 结果没什么上场机会, ..:(

many club from age 20 - 70. many different age group comptition and very
official tournament hold in US all year round.as you can find US volleybsll AA

这儿的孩子都特自信, 据说开家长会老师全班夸个遍, 不象我们, 小时候一到期末就惶惶
不可终日.
至于打球, 我碰到好几个见面前吹得好利害, 一出手连一传都接不稳, 还号称自己大学校
队的. 后来看了一场Wellesley跟其它学校的比赛, 发现她们很多Bench player就是赢球
时偶尔上去发发球(还失误). 教练就是做给家长看看, 所以校队的也未必都打得好.
刚来美国时打Pick up碰到个老太婆, "跳"起来还摸不到网带, 打了一会儿, 突然冲过来
质问我为什麽不传球给她, 是不是看不起她. 后来我吸取教训, 管你阿猫阿狗, 每边轮流
一个.
还是在国内时好, 不会打的老老实实在那儿对墙练, 教练说不准打比赛就半年多不敢打,
所以基本功比这儿的孩子好多了.

然后过了很久教练都不给子弹, 就是那么空枪练习
后来我爸就给老师拎了两瓶酒去,

volleyball league打打比赛,队友都是40多岁的老美老头(本来reagan也在,可惜他后来嫌
水平太差叛变了...).不太计较胜负,主要是经常打打保持手感.

其实我当时是想满足每个人的愿望,领先的时候二传也可以换换.可惜我们队总是先输掉第

Beijing. I was told to study in Shanghai Physical education institute by my
boss in 1984 after i was done with national team. But i did not get coaching
job after i get my dagree. You know why, I was invetited to my head officer's

your team also got one strong OH plus good backrow defense skill, one week OH.
At first set, you know they will start the strong OH at first rotation, you
put your strong OH at back row.
At second set, they may figure out what is going on here, they may or may not
put the strong OH at front row. Then I will let their coach fill up the
line-up sheet, take a peek at the referee's table to find out their line-up
