Georgetown are all pretty safe places (people may have different opinions on
Dupont Circle, but I think it is safe because there are always a lot of
people, even late evenings). Georgetown may not be good for you as it has no
Metro. There are a number of apartment bldgs in Foggy Bottom and West End;
most are relatively expensive. A big complex in Foggy Bottom called Columbia
Plaza has fairly spacious apartments.
