Not sure what metal you are buying, I am guess it is the sheet metal used
for duct work in the house. If that is the case, it is made from galvanized
steel, heating and cooking on top of that metal beyond 392 °F (200 °C) can
release zinc and cause metal fume fever, please see this link for more info.

Galvanized steel can be identified by the crystallization patterning on the
surface (often called a "spangle"). If you are using stainless steel sheet
metal, it is much safer, do not worry.

不锈钢 net to hold the coal in the middle).
You might want to shop around for good deal on 不锈钢, I some used 不锈钢
pieces from a closed restaurant.
