is no discount rate. When will u break-even. And is it a good buy?
这题可能回忆的不全，但我想知道解题的宗旨什么，break even的点是什么？
2. Part(2) - Anti-freeze is currently priced at $8, with 60% market
share
; there are other products in the market(A) priced at $7 with 15% market
share, (B) at $7 with 7% market share and (c) with $5 and 10% market
share.
Should we consider decreasing our price by $1 or NOT?
这道题我想听下大家的思路，不知道我的对不对。
3. Cap One is usually collects default accts by calling these
customers.
Usually 15% of customers pay their accounts off. Now, they are
considering
giving an offer to the customers for paying 60% amount. Should we do
that or
not. Avg balance is $2000. This offer will impact now, that only 10%
customers will pay in full and 10% will pay 60% offer.
这道题break even 的点是什么？
4. part(b)- since we are stealing our own customers by giving an
offer,
what is the cannibalization rate? and what is the max. cannibalization
rate
that Capital One can do to break even
我google 了cannibalization ，有两种解释，这个面试的时候他们会给你公式么？

account balance 2000
Interest rate(customer) 16%
cost per card 40
annual fee 20
interest rate(C1) 6%
Default rate 2%
Profit?
为嘛根据default rate的定义，it should be applied to account balance instead
of credit limit啊? |

etc. The key is to calculate IRR...
2. You need to have price elasticity and marginal cost...
3. No discount, you get $300 back; discount, you get $200+$120=$320 back. So
yes.
4. Ask what is their definition of cannibalization rate. I think it means (
15%-10%)/15%=33%. The breaking even rate is easy to get.
5. Because no all defaults result in loss of 100% credit limits... |
