The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. on an above-ground track on the Red Li

Transit Authority.
Forty-two people were taken to a hospital, according to CNN affiliate WUSA.
Video Watch report from the scene
Video from CNN affiliate WJLA shows much of one Metro car on top of another.
Both trains were on the same track, said John Catoe, Metro general manager.
Beyond that, he was unable to say why the crash occurred.
"We will find what happened and will fix what happened," Catoe said.

on the contrary, increasing the price might have some positive impact.
it's simply too crowded.
what we really need is, we need the dead-ended tech-way project back, so
more people can drive between MD and VA
but it's hopeless. Look at how long ICC takes, 50 years of debate? and it's
only 18 miles long and needs many years to construct.
I guess we have to live with the bad traffic for a long time, if not forever
