to hurt their feelings. In this case, I assume these girlfriends do not
frequent DC board. But they might view the post on the front page. (maybe)
5) HS has friends in othe boards, who might know something contrary to what
he said in the deleted post.
6) HS likes to delete any post reaching the front page to keep a low profile.
