You guys have Board Meetings (or Eatings) regularly, right? Bring a few
laptops there and ask those who attend the meeting to delete 100 posts each
person. Or have a competition of the amount of posts one can delete during a
10 minute period. The winner can sit next to the Chief or another beauty
of his/her choice!
BTW, if the above suggestion or a variation thereof is adopted, please send
me some BaoZi as reward as well. |

发帖数: 9094 | 35 Issue 1: DC board has over 200k posts and the normal limit is 100k.
Solution: Delete at least 100k posts or half of the total.
Issue 2: The time required to delete 100k posts is TOO long for CWH or other
Board of Directors to do it individually: each one has to delete 20k posts.
Solution A: Ask more people to join the "cleaning" crew. For example, when
cyber friends attend a board gathering at a restaraunt. (feasible)
Solution B: Ask a programmer to write a script which can intelligently
recognize and evalutate a post and make a decision to delete the post or not
, then automatically delete posts afterwards. (not feasible within the short
time frame but is a valuable tool to have in the future)
Solution C: Sell a premium membership (or 免死牌) to DC board visitors.
Those who have the service would be immuned from post deletion. Those who
do not? Sorry. You posts will be deleted in 2 months if not marked as "M."
The problem with this approach is the legality thereof and its partial
dependence on the Solution B, a means to automatically delete posts
according to set rules. |
