acceleration。这比Common Core Standard 里不推荐在6th grade前安排acceleration

inform their own school communities and also join with the GCC to advocate
for better and more equitable implementation of opportunities for advanced
level learners across all schools;
-- Solicitation of parent and teacher input on the impact of the Middle
School Reform initiative on the experiences of advanced learners in middle
school;
-- An update on the rollout of Curriculum 2.0 and its implications for
advanced level learners. We will address the ongoing parent petition on the
math pathways, among other things.

All - for the many people who signed the petition since last week's article
in the Washington Post, and as a reminder for all of those who previously
signed the petition:
1) we will present the petition formally and press our case for reform at a
public Board of Education meeting this Tuesday December 11 at 10:00 am (we
will likely speak around 10:45 to judge by the agenda). Please attend and
show your support. We know this is a burden for working parents and those
home with small children. But your presence will have all the more impact
for that reason.
2) Continue to forward the article and petition links to those that share
your concerns and put them on relevant list serves, such as your elementary
school's listserv, sport teams mailing lists, etc. We continue to see bursts
of signatures as the petition makes its way into untapped schools and
groups.
3) Join the conversation online and share your individual experiences,
