另外， Mclean的地税和montgomery conunty比起来，哪个高一点？
收入税呢？Mongomery county的收入税高得离谱啊

Town houses built in 80s around 600k
Singles built in 60s - 70s around 700k - 800s
Potomac might be a better choice for you.

income tax rate is also lower than that of MD.
The downside of VA is that your cars are taxed at 1.5% annually for value <=
$20k, and 4.5% for value >$20k.

For car assessed at 20k, the property tax is about 400 bucks a year.
There are some sort of tax relieves.
The property tax for house in fairfax ounty is about 1.1% of assessment
value.

发帖数: 1916 | 13 like i said $50k car tax = 20k x 1.5% + 30k x 4.5% = 1650
Mont. property tax is around 1.5% of assessed. Plus all MD counties have
ridiculous transfer tax around 1.5% of sales price, as opposed to VA where
transfer tax is around 0.33%.
马里兰社会主义共和州不是盖的.

Maryland,
The property tax is lower in Maryland but income tax is lower in VA. There
are no much difference if counting everything.
