I am selling a Sohmer piano which I bought one year ago. I bought this nice
piano based on the piano teacher’s recommendation. The following is her
recommendation.
“Today I paid a visit to Piano Craft - the company where I bought my two
pianos. XXX and I go every so often to see what pianos they are offering
for sale. I played on a VERY nice 22-year old upright Sohmer. The piano
has a lovely, warm, singing tone, a melodious bass, and a nice ebony (black)
case. The workings inside the piano are in pristine condition. Of
course, the dynamic range is not the same as a grand, but this a really nice
piano that is difficult to find on the market. Only every once in a while
one does become available (they are no longer being made) so here is a
great opportunity to hear it –or perhaps purchase it.
Some of you might be interested in this wonderful bargain for a beautiful
upright piano. The price is unbelievable ($2900) because they want to “
move” this item – not because it’s inferior. So, you need to act
quickly if you are interested. This piano will sell fast - it just came to
the showroom a couple of days ago.
Some of you have purchased Yamaha or Kawaii pianos for three – five
thousand dollars new. I know that this Sohmer is costing less – but it IS
a used piano. Be advised, it has been very well maintained by its single
owner and had climate control. ……….”
