Federal Civilian Employees Working in Maryland
If you are a civilian employee of the Federal government working in Maryland
, filing for unemployment insurance benefits due to the Federal shutdown,
you may file your claim on-line using the Federal Civilian Employee
Application for Benefits. This application has been designed solely for
those Federal employees unemployed due to the Federal shutdown and will only
be available during the shutdown period.
To avoid long wait times due to anticipated high volume of claims being
filed, you are encouraged to file your claim on-line. However, if you do not
have internet access, claims may also be filed by telephone Monday-Friday 8
:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
NOTE: If Federal employees are later paid for time not worked, the payment
will be considered back pay and it will result in an overpayment of any
unemployment insurance benefits paid.
Federal Contractor Employees Working in Maryland
If you worked in Maryland as an employee of a Federal contractor and are
filing due to the Federal Shutdown, you may file a regular unemployment
insurance claim online. Do not use the link for the Federal Civilian
Employee Application for Benefits.
To avoid long wait times due to anticipated high volume of claims being
filed, you are encouraged to file your claim on-line. However, if you do not
have internet access, claims may also be filed by telephone Monday-Friday 8
:00 AM - 4:00 PM. |

再看看，估计很快就会重新开门营业了，即使领到失业金，到时估计还得吐出来。

，不然太庸俗了。再说这么pay period到周六为止，要是我，周五还没开，就在这最后
一天business day file claim。
