An immediate opening.
Responsibilities include:
Raw data collection
Data processing and cleaning
Data mining
Exploratory data analysis and modeling
Production of high quality data tables, charts, and advanced data
visualizations.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ professional experience in
data programming and analysis, and creating polished, professional data
analytic products and leading the data analysis of medium and large scale
projects. In addition, the candidate must have a high attention to detail
and neatness.
Required experience:
Expertise in analysis and manipulation of large data sets.
Experience creating advanced data visualizations in Tableau, Spotfire,
SAS, or R.
Expertise in statistical programming in SAS, Stata, R, or other
statistical software packages.
Proficiency Visual Basic for Applications macro programming.
Proficiency in database design and querying.
Proficiency in designing scripts in Visual Basic, Python, or other
languages
Preferred experience:
Experience designing computer simulations
Experience with factor and cluster analysis.
Experience with big data software such as Hadoop or R big data packages.
Familiarity with Federal Information Security Management Act
requirements.
You must fulfill at least one of the education requirements below:
1) Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline, such as computer
science, mathematics, statistics, physics, engineering, or econometrics.
OR
2) Master’s degree or Ph.D. is a social science discipline AND B.S. in
computer science, mathematics, statistics, or physics. |
